Proceeds of the Vintage Festival weekend benefit Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Foundation, whose mission is activating the generosity of Sonoma Valley vintners and growers to support a thriving local community. The Foundation contributes to a healthy Sonoma Valley through grant making, scholarships, and charitable programs.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH

EXCLUSIVE LUNCH FOR 12 | Three Sticks Adobe | 11:30 AM - SOLD OUT!

Step inside one of Sonoma's most iconic historic properties for an intimate afternoon at the beautifully restored Three Sticks Wines Adobe. Gather around the table for a thoughtfully prepared lunch paired with Three Sticks' acclaimed estate wines while learning about the winery's commitment to preserving Sonoma's rich agricultural heritage. Set within the historic Adobe, this relaxed and elegant experience celebrates the people, stories, and flavors that have made Sonoma Valley the birthplace of California wine.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25th

HARVEST IMMERSION EXPERIENCE | Sangiacomo Family Wines | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Step into the heart of harvest with an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at Sangiacomo Family Wines. This is a rare opportunity to experience Sonoma Valley wine country during its most exciting season.

Guests will get hands-on in the vineyard as you learn how wine grapes are picked, taste fruit straight from the vine, and discover the journey from grape to glass. Meet the family members and grape growers who have dedicated generations to farming Sonoma Valley’s renowned vineyards and hear the stories behind the wines you enjoy.

This intimate harvest experience includes a guided vineyard experience, grape tasting, a curated wine tasting featuring Sangiacomo Family Wines, and a delicious lunch enjoyed among the vines. Connect with the people, the place, and the passion behind every bottle while celebrating the magic of harvest season in Sonoma Valley.

SONOMA VALLEY HARVEST DINNER | Sonoma Plaza | 5:30 PM

Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers are celebrating the 200th Anniversary of Sonoma Valley Wine with the Year of Community. To celebrate, we are bringing the Harvest Dinner to the center of our community to celebrate! 

Set in front of Sonoma City Hall, a series of connected tables forms one grand harvest table that wraps around the horseshoe driveway, bringing hundreds of guests together for an unforgettable evening in the heart of the Sonoma Plaza. Guests will enjoy a seasonal dinner prepared by the girl & the fig, thoughtfully paired with Sonoma Valley wines, celebrating the bounty of the harvest season and the region’s rich culinary and winemaking heritage. Throughout the evening, lively dueling pianos entertainment will provide the soundtrack for the celebration, creating an interactive and festive atmosphere. Gathering friends, neighbors, and visitors around one shared table, this signature event reflects the spirit of connection, hospitality, and community that defines Sonoma Valley.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th

5K FUN RUN &  Vintage Vines 1 Miler  | Sonoma Valley Plaza | 8:00 AM

Kicking off the Daytime Festival, the 5K FUN RUN and new this year, a 1 mile fun run! The race (not timed) will take you through some of the most scenic areas of downtown Sonoma Valley. Join your family, friends, and neighbors for a fun and active morning, enjoying the fall colors and fresh air of harvest season. All ages and levels are welcome!

DOUBLE WEDDING OF THE CENTURY  | Sonoma Valley Plaza | 9:30 AM

Step back in time as the Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival presents the historic "Double Wedding of the Century," commemorating the June 1, 1863 marriage of two sons of Count Agoston Haraszthy to two daughters of General Mariano Vallejo—an iconic union that has become a beloved Vintage Festival tradition. Presented by local historian and playwright George Webber, this historically accurate, fast-paced 15-minute reenactment kicks off Saturday's festivities and is a must-see highlight of the weekend.

THE BLESSING OF THE GRAPES | Sonoma Valley Plaza | 10:00 AM

Each year the festival is commemorated by the annual Blessing of the Grapes.  The Blessing expresses an appreciation of the bountiful, fertile valley we live in and the abundant harvest of the grapes it provides.

SONOMA VALLEY GRAPE STOMP | Sonoma Valley Plaza Amphitheatre | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Toss off your shoes, roll up your pants and get ready for Sonoma Valley’s Historic Grape Stomp. Participate in this time-honored tradition and friendly competition.  Don’t miss the celebrity stomp at 10:00 AM. All sign-ups are for teams of two.

DAYTIME FESTIVAL  | Sonoma Valley Plaza | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Live Music + Wine Garden + Food + Kids Activities + Artisan Fair. Throughout the day visitors can enjoy Sonoma Valley wine and Sonoma Springs craft beer by the glass and a variety of food vendors, while listening to live music on the Historic Sonoma Plaza. There's a Kids area with games and fun, and artisans fair that brings together local artists, and creators of all kinds.  This free festival is open to the public.

SONOMA VALLEY GRAND TASTING | Sonoma Barracks | 6:00 PM 

Presented by Expedia Wine Club Cruises and AMA Waterways

Join Sonoma Valley’s Vintners & Growers for an extravagant evening of wine tasting under the stars in the historic Sonoma Barracks. This walk-around regional tasting will feature an impressive collection of Sonoma Valley’s most interesting and impeccably selected wines from up to 40 wineries. Engage with winemakers and winegrowers, while you taste current vintages from each of Sonoma Valley’s 5 appellations and enjoy locally prepared cuisine from some of the Valley’s most notable chefs and artisans.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th

BRUNCH BITES & BUBBLES EXPERIENCE | BLOOM CARNEROS 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Celebrate the final day of Vintage Festival weekend with Brunch Bites & Bubbles. Enjoy a leisurely morning featuring sparkling wines and delicious brunch bites. Gather with friends and fellow festivalgoers for a relaxed and festive conclusion to Sonoma Valley’s signature harvest celebration.
